Print Media Partner (Magazine)


The Fight Magazine is California’s monthly LGBTQ publication, in print and online (www.thefightmag.com). The magazine produces two print editions, one in Southern California, and one in the San Francisco Bay rea. The publication is distributed freely at gay bars, clubs and gay friendly businesses throughout California. Founded in 2011 the publication covers topics of interest to the LGBTQ community. The magazine’s two editions reach 120,000 monthly readers across California.

Policy Partner


AIDS United’s policy and advocacy roots were born out of coalition in 1984, when AIDS service organizations (ASOs) across the country came together to form AIDS Action Council (AAC). AIDS Action Foundation (AAF) was formed as the education arm a few years later. AAC and AAF together formed AIDS Action. Decades later, AIDS Action merged with the National AIDS Fund to form AIDS United. Today, the coalition of organizations involved in AIDS United’s policy work continues to grow. We advocate for people living with or affected by HIV/AIDS and the organizations that serve them. We house the most seasoned and respected domestic AIDS policy team in Washington, DC, and our public policy work is informed by our Public Policy Committee that includes a broad array of organizations from all regions of the country engaged in helping to end AIDS in America.

Youth Engagement Partner


SMYAL (Supporting and Mentoring Youth Advocates and Leaders) supports and empowers lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth in the Washington, DC, metropolitan region. Through youth leadership, SMYAL creates opportunities for LGBTQ youth to build self-confidence, develop critical life skills, and engage their peers and community through service and advocacy. Committed to social change, SMYAL builds, sustains, and advocates for programs, policies, and services that LGBTQ youth need as they grow into adulthood.
